A small fishing village of some 25 houses, it has three sea-front tavernas (open at all hours) and a small general store that stocks a large range of goods from fresh milk to suntan lotion.
There is a daily bus service from Volos. During the summer season, there are boats to rent for nearby trips.
The village is close to the island of Skiathos which has the following travel links:
- international airport (charter and domestic flights)
- port with ferryboat links to Volos and Aghios Konstantinos
- sea taxi service from Koukounaries (on the south part of the island)
to Katigiorgis
You can swim at Katigiorgis or at any of a number of beaches nearby. Not all of them have a taverna or shade, but you can always do your own picnic. Peaceful summer days and nights and a place to see picture-perfect sunrise and moonrise over Skiathos. There is no nightlife here, but if you are looking for some, Skiathos is the place to go.

To Skiathos Airport
(international charter and/or domestic scheduled flights from Thessaloniki International Airport and/or Athens International Airport). Then taxi/bus drive to Aghia Eleni beach then sea taxi to Katigiorgis where George picks you up and drives you to the villa, about 10 minutes beach to beach, depending on the weather.
The villa is serviced twice a week. More frequent servicing can be arranged at extra cost, and you need to let us know about it well in advance.
