Review for: Villa Ioanna with heated pool in Plaka, ChaniaA beautiful looking villa with some shortcomings August 2018A clean and spacious villa with amazing views, which provided a great base for our holiday. The owner and his family were very friendly and responsive. We loved the view, the pool, the living area, the garden and the welcome fruit and drinks. Things to be aware of: you can walk 10 (hilly) minutes to the restaurants in Plaka, but if you are eating in the Villa, it is difficult to get to the poolside without going downstairs and through one of the bedrooms (a bit of an odd design). There is also a smaller than usual dishwasher which was a challenge for a party of 11. There is a big table in the living area, which we used rather than carrying stuff through the bedrooms to the garden (but we mostly dined out). I would describe the villa as lightly furnished - not a lot of storage in the bedrooms, and not the most comfortable of mattresses. It was very clean indoors, with lovely cleaners coming twice a week, and slippers provided for everyone! We had a great holiday and enjoyed visiting Crete very much. Thank you for the hospitality.

A great opportunity for a family vacation. The owner Penelope met at night, despite our delay. Very grateful to her. I recommend Villa Clio for holidays with children or for romantic weekend. The center of Chania can be reached by car in 20 minutes.

Perfect house July 2015The house was perfect for two families and the host was very helpful answering the questions we had. We will love to come back another time.
